Sigma Iota Sigma (ΣΙΣ) was a sorority that was established on October 4, 2023 by a group of visionary and adventurous women who wanted to explore the wonders of the desert in Dubai. Who stumbled up an tomb. As they walked they felt a giving aura. They approached a door that said Sigma Iota Sigma. They entered and help their torch to the closest wall that read “She is both hell fire and holy water”. As a Zoisite crystal lit up the room exposing flame lilies that bloomed everywhere. And ancient writing on the wall that showed them not only what was started but now what they are here to continue.As They searched the tomb they came to admired the Neptunias story. As well as all that was around them . The camel and its endurance, adaptability and loyalty, and they often rode camels. The sorority’s patron, Neptunia. They believed that Neptunia represented their spirit of exploration, creativity and courage. The gemstone, the yellow zoisite, a mineral that has healing and spiritual properties. The flame lily and its symbol of purity and beauty. As well as the cactus, with its strength, and the cyan , tangerine, lawn green, and golden rod colors that embraces the room
The women knew they had all the tools. They gathered five more women. Making eight. Representing the eight disciples of Neptunia, and fully founded the sorority of Sigma Iota Sigma.The sorority’s members were loyal, adventurous, creative, and courageous. They made sure it was also know for its philanthropic and educational activities, such as supporting local communities, promoting environmental awareness, and sponsoring scholarships for young women. The sorority also organized cultural and social events, such as festivals, concerts, and parties, where they showcased their talents and celebrated their diversity.
The sorority of Sigma Iota Sigma continues to be a proud and prestigious organization that aimed to empower women and make a positive difference in the world. Standing by their motto “she is both hellfire and holy water “.
